Jordan’s rising gymnastics star Tala Haddad has secured gold at the Serbia International Gymnastics Championship, her first youth medal since stepping up from the juniors.
The youngster swept to victory in the individual category having qualified to the finals in three of the four disciplines – uneven bars, balance beam and floor.
Her teammate Ruba Al Dawoud unfortunately had to withdraw midway due to injury.
Meanwhile, Simona Barakat participated as an international referee at the same championships.
