ARINA HEAD TO ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Arina Club have arrived in Morocco where they will represent Jordan in the Arab Clubs Chess Championship, in Rabat starting Thursday.
The Jordan Chess League champions travel in high spirits hoping to make a big impact and included in its ranks are Sami Al Safarini, Ra'afat Issa, Samir Mansour, Waseem Al Abbasi, Egyptian professional Ahmad Adli, and coach Ahmad Saadeh.
Meanwhile, prior to leaving, the Chess Federation, under the Patronage of HRH Prince Mohammad Bin Talal, honoured the players who had all achieved during the past season.
President Nawaf Irshedat presented awards to a mix of coaches and players including Ghaida Al Attar, Bushra Al Shuabi, Aseel Odeh, Ahmad Al Khateeb, Loay Samir, Thaer Abu Haija, Yazan Al Bashayreh, and coaches; Sami Al Safarini, Samir Mansour, Youri Kroba, Ahmad Saadeh.
