Jordan will be looking for some big performances from its rising stars competing at the Asian Youth and Juniors Karate Championships being held in Indonesia from November 21-29.
Jordan is sending a strong delegation and with karate now a part of the Olympic programme in 2020, it will be an early opportunity for youngsters to stake their claim.
The juniors team includes: Abdullah Hammad (52kg), Mohammad Al Mousa (57kg), Yazan Al Weher (63kg), Saleh Sawalha (70kg) and Ali Isma'eel (+70kg).
The youth team includes Sultan Farha (55kg), Ali Al Habashneh (61kg), Rakan Al Drous (+76kg), Tala Al Mousa (48kg) and Aseel Al Nuaimi (59kg).
The U21s team includes Mohammad Fahed Sami (60kg), Nabil Al Shweiky (67kg), Abdel Aziz Al Masatfeh (84kg), Majedah Al Bashayreh (55kg) and Huda Jaber (61kg).
