Oct 13, 2026
Jordan’s volleyball team secured its first victory of the 24th Arab Men’s Volleyball Championship, with an impressive 3-1 win over Kuwait in Amman.
Playing in front Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Feisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, and a passionate home crowd, at the Arena Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City, Jordan delivered a determined performance to claim an important victory.
Jordan made a strong start, edging a closely fought opening set 26-24 before Kuwait responded to level the match.
However, the hosts regained control, showing resilience and composure to secure the next two sets and seal a deserved victory.
The result marks Jordan's first win of the championship and provides a welcome boost for the squad as it looks to build momentum in the competition.
With the backing of home supporters, the national team will be hoping to carry that confidence into its remaining matches and continue challenging against some of the Arab world's leading volleyball nations.
