EIGHT JORDAN MEDALS ON OPENING DAY OF WEST ASIA PARA GAMES

Jordan have enjoyed an excellent start at the 5th West Asia Para Games by winning eight medals, including five gold, in Muscat, Oman.
Field athlete Ahmad Hindi secured two gold medals in the Discus and Javelin, while track athlete Mohammad Al-Mahdi won two gold medals in the 800m and 1500m.
Nasser Al-Muqabla added another gold medal in the 200m.
Khaled Abu Nahleh earned silver in the 400m, while Para Badminton marked their first-ever participation in the sport with Musab Al-Tawalbeh winning silver in the doubles and bronze in singles.
