SQUASH TEAM STRIKES ARAB GOLD

Jordan’s U-17 squash team have won gold at the Arab Squash Championships, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The team of Osama Al-Battayneh, Hazem Al-Anawseh, Yahya Al-Sarraj and Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Sarraj defeated Kuwait 2-1 in the final to take the title.
Jordan had advanced to the final after victories over Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The team gold follows on from Osama Al-Battayneh’s gold in the singles, while Yahya Al-Sarraj claimed the bronze medal.
