Syrian Minister visits Jordan Olympic Committee

The Syrian Minister of Sport and Youth, Mohammad Sameh Hamed, has visited the Olympic Preparation Centre of the Jordan Olympic Committee, where he met with the Minister of Youth and JOC Deputy President, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan.
The Minister’s visit, accompanied by an official delegation, comes within the framework of strengthening fraternal relations and enhancing sports cooperation between the two countries.
During a tour, attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah bint Faisal, Deputy Director of the JOC Olympic Preparation Programme, the Minister was briefed on the centre’s facilities and the integrated services it provides to support the preparation of Jordanian athletes.
He also watched national teams’ training sessions and learned about the technical and rehabilitation programmes adopted in athlete development.
The JOC Secretary General, Rana Al-Saeed, delivered a presentation highlighting the Committee’s projects and strategic plans aimed at developing the sports ecosystem, strengthening Jordan’s presence at the regional and international levels, and supporting and empowering athletes to achieve sporting excellence.
The visit also included discussions on joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the sport sector, contributing to its development in both Jordan and Syria, and serving the interests of athletes in both countries.
