Al-Kayali Wins Bronze at Asian Mixed Martial Arts

Jordan’s national Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athlete, Zaki Al-Kayali, claimed the bronze medal on Sunday at the 3rd Asian Championships, which serve as a qualifier for the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, to be hosted in Luzhou, China.

Al-Kayali earned the bronze medal in the 71kg weight category under the traditional style after defeating Uzbekistan’s Sharifjon in the quarter-finals before falling in the semi-finals to China’s Ding.
