JORDAN BEAT SAUDI ARABIA IN U-23 ASIAN CUP

Jordan’s footballers secured a 3–2 victory over Saudi Arabia on Friday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the second round of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup (Saudi Arabia 2026).
The hosts opened the scoring in the 19th minute, before Ali Azzayzeh levelled for Jordan in the 38th. The same player then added Jordan’s second goal in stoppage time of the first half.
Saudi equalised on the hour, but Mahmoud Kharoubeh sealed the win for Jordan with the decisive goal in the 73rd minute.
Jordan had lost its opening match of the tournament 2–0 to Vietnam, and now sit second in the group with three points after the conclusion of the second round of matches.
