US STUDENTS VISIT OLYMPIC PREPARATION CENTRE

A delegation of students from the University of Virginia visited the Olympic Preparation Centre, managed by the Jordan Olympic Committee, on Sunday, as part of the university’s cultural exchange programme.

The delegation took a comprehensive tour of the Centre’s facilities, where they learned about the services and equipment provided to support Jordanian athletes, as well as the Centre’s role in preparing and developing athletes to the highest of international standards.

The students also attended an introductory lecture highlighting the Olympic Movement and the establishment of the Jordan Olympic Committee, in addition to outlining its key responsibilities and the services it provides to develop Jordanian sport as a whole and supporting national federations and teams.
