JORDAN FEDERATION PRESIDENT ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF WEST ASIA

Ibrahim Al-Amayan, President of the Jordan Weightlifting Federation, has been elected as First Vice President of the West Asia Weightlifting Federation during the elections held in Doha, Qatar.
Al-Amayan’s election reflects the strong confidence placed in Jordanian sport leadership at both regional and international levels, as well as the active role it plays in developing all sports and strengthening their presence within continental and regional federations.
Through his new position, Al-Amayan aims to transfer his administrative and technical expertise to help advance the sport of weightlifting across the West Asia region and to enhance cooperation between national federations.
