WEST ASIAN OPEN JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP UNDERWAY IN AMMAN

The West Asian Open Judo Championship began on Wednesday at the Prince Hamzah Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City, organised by the Jordan Judo Federation.

The event features competitions for the U21 and Senior categories, with the participation of national teams from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, for both men and women.

The opening day included Kata competitions, giving athletes the opportunity to showcase their technical skills in precision, movement, and balance.

The championship will continue tomorrow, forming an important part of the participating teams’ preparations for upcoming Arab and continental events.
