Al-Sharabati Wins Islamic Games Bronze

Saleh Al-Sharabati has won a Taekwondo bronze for Jordan at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sharabati earned his bronze in the -82kg weight, becoming Jordan’s third taekwondo medalist in the Games so far, following yesterday’s two gold medals won by Zaid Mustafa and Jaafar Al-Daoud.
He began his campaign with a 2–0 victory over Azerbaijan’s Taleh Suleymanov in the quarter-finals, before falling in the semi-finals to Iran’s Amir Reza.
Al-Sharabati then moved to the bronze-medal match, where he defeated Saudi Arabia’s Ali Al-Khaibri 2–0 to secure the podium finish.
This medal raises Jordan’s total tally at the Games to 11 medals: 3 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze.
The national taekwondo team will conclude its participation tomorrow, Monday, with appearances from Hamza Al-Nashash, Razan Al-Rawashdeh, and Rama Abu Al-Rub.
