HRH Princess Zeina joins Executive Board of International Table Tennis Federation

In a new achievement for Jordanian sport, HRH Princess Zeina Rashid has been elected to the Executive Board of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) for the 2025–2029 term — a milestone that reflects growing international confidence in her leadership and her significant contributions to the development of sport.
HRH Princess Zeina holds a distinguished position in Jordanian sports. She began her journey in table tennis at a young age and reached the highest international levels, representing Jordan at the Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
She also had the honour of carrying Jordan’s flag during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, highlighting her remarkable sporting presence and elevating Jordan’s image on the global stage.
Following her retirement from competition, HRH Princess Zeina continued her impact through leadership and institutional work. She currently serves on the ITTF Foundation Board, where she supports initiatives that use sport as a tool for social development and youth empowerment. She is also the Vice President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation, contributing to the sport’s technical and administrative progression and supporting elite athletes.
Her role has been instrumental in advancing Jordanian athletes’ careers through her support in developing the Olympic Preparation Programme and overseeing operations at the Olympic Preparation Centre of the Jordan Olympic Committee.
Her efforts have helped prepare athletes capable of competing at world-class levels and raising Jordan’s flag at major international events.
HRH Princess Zeina’s influence also extends into the humanitarian sphere. She actively supports community-focused sports programs for children in refugee camps and is the founder of the “Art for Good” initiative, which utilizes art to serve charitable and developmental causes.
Her election to the ITTF Executive Board is yet another affirmation of her impactful presence in elevating Jordanian sport, reinforcing her leadership role internationally, and driving forward a progressive and visionary approach to sports development.
