JOC Hold Medical Day in Recognition of World Diabetes Day

The Jordan Olympic Committee organised a public medical awareness day on Friday to commemorate World Diabetes Day, as part of the “Our Health Through Sport” campaign, held at the main square of Al-Hussein Youth City.

The event featured free medical tests and consultations provided by Al-Kindi Hospital. The medical department of the Jordan Olympic Committee also offered educational information to visitors about healthy nutrition and the role of regular physical activity in preventing and managing diabetes.

The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about diabetes and highlight the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle based on proper nutrition and consistent physical activity.

Several partners contributed to the day’s activities, including Al-Hussein Youth City, Bashnaq Trading Company, Fine Hygienic Holding, Khobz Al-Reef Al-Sehi, and the Jordanian Dairy Company (Maha), in support of the Olympic Committee’s efforts to promote health awareness within the community.
