STUDENTS VISIT OLYMPIC PREPARATION CENTRE

A group of students specialising in sports within the vocational-technical education track from Hassan Al-Basri Secondary School, affiliated with the Marka Education Directorate, visited the Olympic Preparation Centre on Thursday morning.

The visit included an address delivered by the Olympic Academy, which provided an introductory overview of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) who manage the centre.

The students also participated in a guided tour of the facilities, where they learned about the services offered to athletes across various sports.

They observed the national teams’ training sessions, giving them the opportunity to experience first-hand the professional training environment provided by the JOC.

This visit comes as part of the school’s commitment to enhancing students’ sports knowledge, linking academic learning with practical application, and introducing them to the role of the JOC and the Olympic Preparation Centre in developing and supporting Jordanian athletes.
