AL-SAIFI THROUGH TO MUAY THAI SEMIS

Yazan Al-Saifi is through to the semi-finals of the Muay Thai competition at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, guaranteeing a medal for Jordan.

Al-Saifi earned his spot in the last four by stopping Turkey’s Bilben in the 65-70kg weight category.

He is set to face the UAE’s Mohammed Mardhi tomorrow, Thursday, in the semi-final.

Teammate, Dana Al-Kilani, left the competition after losing to Uzbekistan’s Aziza in the quarter-finals of the 50-55kg category.
