HASWEH HEARTBREAK IN BRONZE MEDAL MATCH

Jordan’s Hamza Hasweh has narrowly missed out on a Jiu-Jitsu bronze medal at the Asian Youth Games in Manama, Bahrain.
On Thursday, Hasweh won his Round of 16 match against Kyrgyzstan’s Rahimovbek Khimenov, before losing in the quarter-finals to Kazakhstan’s Lailas Beltgazy and entering the repechage to fight for bronze. But he was beaten by Vietnam’s Long Manh.
In the -69kg category, Omar Housha lost his Round of 32 contest to The Philippines’ Mabalo Emmanuel.
Maya Ishaqat also lost in the -63kg Round of 16 division to Kazakhstan’s Laila Rakhimzanova.
Seemaza Khet also participated in the -57kg division, losing in the Round of 16 to Tajikistan’s Fariza Qasimuyeva.
