JUDOKO JUST MISS OUT ON MEDALS AT YOUTH GAMES

Jordan young Judo team concluded its participation on Thursday at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Manama, Bahrain.

Haitham Adawi (-73 kg) secured two consecutive victories over Syria’s Mohammad Al-Rahwan and Kuwait’s Ali Al-Jadi, advancing to the semi-finals. But he was defeated by Kazakhstan’s Sevil Daultkiri, moving on to the bronze medal match, where he lost to India’s Harshit.

Meanwhile, Taleen Khader (-63kg) was eliminated in the Round of 16 after losing to Mongolia’s Ankhtaivan Anudari, and later fell short in the bronze medal contest against China’s Li Zixuan.
