AL-NABULSI JUST MISSES OUT ON JIU-JITSU BRONZE

Zaid Al-Nabulsi came agonisingly close to winning bronze for Jordan in the Jiu-Jitsu competition at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, taking place in Manama, Bahrain.
Al-Nabulsi beat Cambodia’s Sour Sovanut in the Round of 16 for the -62kg weight before losing in the quarter-finals to Tajikistan’s Abdurahman Saidbekov.
He then fought for the bronze medal, but fell short against Mongolia’s Altan.
Meanwhile, In the -56kg category, Ziyad Samara was eliminated in the Round of 32 after losing to the UAE’s Obaid Al-Ketbi, while Sharif Ghazi Al-Aoun exited in the same round following a defeat to Mongolia’s Batragcha.
The team will continue its participation on Thursday, featuring Omar Housha, Omar Kasso, Seemaza Khet, and Maya Ishaqat.
