Jiu-Jitsu eye Youth Games medals as competition set to start

Jordanian young jiu-jitsu hopefuls will launch their bids for glory tomorrow (Wednesday) at the third 3rd Asian Youth Games, hosted in Manama, Bahrain, and running until October 31.
Competing tomorrow, Ziad Samarah (–56kg) will face UAE’s Al-Ketbi in the Round of 32, while Sharif Ghazi Al-Aoun (–85kg) will meet Mongolia’s Batragcha in the same round.
Meanwhile, Zaid Al-Nabulsi (–62kg) will compete in the Round of 16 against the winner of the match between Cambodia’s Sour and Thailand’s Thongnitikan.
The national team’s participation will continue on Thursday, with Omar Housha, Omar Kaso, Simaza Khat, and Maya Ishaqat set to compete.
