Boxer Secures Another Medal for Jordan at Asian Youth Games

Boxer Mutaz Al-Masha’leh guaranteed another medal for Jordan on Monday, after advancing to the semi-finals of the 54kg weight at the Asian Youth Games, currently taking place in Manama, Bahrain.

Al-Masha’leh earned his spot in the last four after defeating Lebanon’s Ramzi Hilal, securing Jordan’s 11th medal of the Games.

He is set to face Iran’s Matin Shamiba in the semi-final bout on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Tughouth was eliminated from the -66kg category after losing to Uzbekistan’s Saidkhoja, and Omar Issa exited the +80kg weight following his loss to Kazakhstan’s Asadbek Sultanboev.
