Wrestlers learn opposition at Asian Youth Games

The wrestling draw for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, currently taking place in Manama, Bahrain, was held on Monday evening.

The draw ceremony took place at the Exhibition World Bahrain, in the presence of Mohammad Al-Awamleh, President of both the Asian and Jordan Wrestling Federations.

The Jordanian national freestyle wrestling team will begin its campaign on Tuesday, with Omar Ishaq competing in the 51kg category, facing Kyrgyzstan’s Saribayev in the Round of 16.

In the 60kg category, Mohammad Ishaq will meet Saudi Arabia’s Majrashi in the Round of 16.

Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al-Marafi will face Pakistan’s Ali in the 71kg category, and in the 53kg women’s category, Lian Al-Qawasmi will compete against Thailand’s Pawist in the same round.
