Rayan books gold medal match in Muay Thai Youth Games

Jordan’s Rayan Ahmad continued his impressive run at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, held in Manama, Bahrain, by qualifying for the Muay Thai final.

Ahmad secured his place in the -60kg final after defeating Uzbekistan’s Davronov Shahruz with a score of 30–27, marking his third consecutive victory in the competition.

He will face Iran’s Yasin Mousavi in the final bout scheduled for 4pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Selina Al-Hayek earned the bronze medal in the -40kg category after falling to Iran’s Baran Jani in the semifinals.
