SEMI-FINAL SPOT FOR RAYAN IN MUAY THAI

Rayan Ahmad advanced to the semi-finals of the Muay Thai -60 kg category on Friday, securing at least a bronze medal at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, held in Manama, Bahrain, on Friday.

Ahmad earned his second victory of the tournament after defeating Cambodia’s Mangasron with a score of 30-27.

He will now face Uzbekistan’s Davronov Shahruz in the last four on Sunday at 6.35pm.

Earlier today, Saleh Al-Aidi lost to Iraq’s Ibrahim Khalil in the round of 16 of the -54kg division, while Ward Nirokh was defeated by Iran’s Amir Mohammad Majidinia in the -57kg quarter-finals.
