AL-SHIYAB WINS BRONZE IN MIXED MARTIAL ARTS AT YOUTH GAMES

Jordan’s Suleiman Al-Shiyab captured the bronze medal in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) on Friday at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Manama, Bahrain.
Competing in the 75kg division, Al-Shiyab faced Saudi Arabia’s Abdulilah Mir Alam in today’s bout, where he fell short but secured the bronze medal for Jordan.
With Al-Shiyab’s achievement, the Jordan national MMA team concluded its participation in the Games, having competed with four athletes: Mohammad Al-Hamdan (50kg), Mohammad Tayeh (60kg), Laith Al-Gharaibeh (70kg) and Al-Shiyab.
