TOUGH START AT ASIAN GAMES FOR 3X3 BASKETBALLERS

Jordan’s 3×3 Basketball teams made a tough start to their campaigns at the 3rd Asian Youth Games being held in Manama, Bahrain, on Thursday.

The men’s team lost their opening match to Chinese Taipei, 16–21, while the women’s team lost their opening three matches to Chinese Taipei (7-21), Iran (6-21), and Uzbekistan (12-17).

The men are represented by Tariq Saheliyeh, Safwan Al-Qasem, Dhafer Al-Kayali, and Michael Saheliyeh, under the guidance of coach, Fadi Yaghmour. While the women’s squad consists of Taleen Habash, Talia Al-Halsa, Tala Al-Nabulsi, and Salma Obeidat, coached by Noor Kayyal.
