MMA TEAM KICK INTO ACTION TOMORROW AT YOUTH GAMES

Jordan’s Mixed Martial Artists will kick off their participation at the 3rd Asian Youth Games tomorrow in Manama, Bahrain.
The Kingdom will be represented by Mohammad Al-Hamdan (50kg), Mohammad Tayeh (60kg), Laith Al-Gharaibeh (70kg) and Suleiman Al-Shiyab (75kg).
The official draw for the MMA competition was held on Wednesday morning, with Al-Hamdan set to face Avaz Anvarov of Uzbekistan in the Round of 16, while Tayeh will meet Iran’s Moradi in the same round.
Al-Gharaibeh will face Bahrain’s Khaldov in the quarter-finals, also on Thursday. Meanwhile, Al-Shiyab will compete on Friday in the semi-finals, where he will face the winner of the bout between Mongolia’s Enkhtuvshin and Saudi Arabia’s Abdulilah Mir Alam.
