AL-ASHOUSH, AL-MASHA’LEH CHOSEN AS JORDAN’S FLAG BEARERS FOR THE ASIAN YOUTH GAMES

The Jordan Olympic Committee has selected Volleyball player Ghadea Al-Ashoush, and boxer, Moataz Al-Masha’leh, as Jordan flag carriers for the opening ceremony of the 3rd Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025), which will officially take place on Wednesday at the Exhibition World Bahrain.
Jordan is participating in the Asian Youth Games with a delegation of 120 athletes, representing 19 sports, including handball, volleyball, mixed martial arts, taekwondo, basketball, Muay Thai, golf, boxing, athletics, triathlon, cycling, e-sports, swimming, wrestling, judo, jiu-jitsu, equestrian, camel racing, and kurash.
Overall, this edition of the Games features over 4,000 athletes from 45 National Olympic Committees, competing across 26 different sports.
Jordan has previously won three medals in the past two editions of the Asian Youth Games, achieved by Mohammad Al-Sarraj (squash) and Anas Al-Awrani and Rania Al-Fawa’rah (taekwondo).
