SAUDI ARABIA AWAIT FOR ASIAN YOUTH GAMES HANDBALL OPENER

Jordan will face Saudi Arabia on Monday in its first Handball match at the Asian Youth Games.

The game will take place at 5pm at the Umm Al Hassam Sports Hall, as part of Group A, which also includes The Maldives, Bahrain and Hong Kong.

On Sunday, the Saudi team recorded a big win over The Maldives, 71-7.

The youth handball competition at the Games features 11 teams, divided into two groups — with five teams in Group A and six in Group B.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
