Jordan’s Yahya Abu Tabeekh has won a silver medal at the World Masters Wrestling Championships held in Tatabánya, Hungary.
Abu Tabeekh won silver in the Greco-Roman 100kg category after securing three victories against Kazakhstan’s Nurlan Galimov, Hungary’s Gábor Jolt, and Morocco’s Chokri Attafi.
In the final, Abu Tabeekh put on an impressive performance but fell short against Hungary’s Balázs, losing 1-3, to finish with a well-deserved silver medal.
Earlier this week, Jordan’s Saleh Zreqat captured a bronze medal in the Freestyle 130kg category at the same championship.
