JORDAN FINISH SECOND AT WEST ASIA WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Feisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, crowned the top three teams on Thursday at the conclusion of the 2nd West Asia Women’s Volleyball Championship, held at Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Jordan secured second place after defeating Iraq in straight sets (27-25, 25-18, 26-24).
Overall, Jordan won four matches against Qatar, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, finishing as runner-up behind Lebanon, who claimed the championship title with a perfect record of five wins and no losses.
Iraq finished third with three wins and two defeats, followed by Syria in fourth, Saudi Arabia in fifth, and Qatar in sixth.
