WIN NUMBER THREE FOR JORDAN VOLLEYBALLERS

Jordan have secured their third win from four matches at the West Asia Volleyball Championships.
The ladies beat Saudi Arabia in straight sets, 3-0, on Tuesday at Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Jordan dominated the match, winning the sets 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15 marking the Kingdom’s third victory, following wins over Qatar (3-0) and Syria (3-2), while their only loss came against Lebanon (2-3).
Elsewhere, Lebanon claimed its fourth win after defeating Qatar (3-0), and Iraq beat Syria (3-0).
The championship continues on Thursday with the final round of matches featuring Qatar v Syria at 3pm; Saudi Arabia v Lebanon at 5pm; and Jordan v Iraq at 7pm.
The six participating teams play in a single round-robin system, with the top-ranked team crowned champion.
