AL-AQILI POTS A HEYBALL BRONZE

Ahmad Al-Aqili secured a bronze medal for Jordan on Thursday at the conclusion of the Asian Heyball Championships, organised by the Jordan Billiards & Snooker Federation in Amman.

Al-Aqili advanced to the semi-finals, earning the bronze medal alongside Pakistan’s Dad Irfan.

The silver medal went to Ali Bordil of Iran, while India’s Sundeep Gulati claimed the gold medal.

In the women’s competition, India’s Anupama and Vidhya Pillai both earned bronze, Thailand’s Warathanon won silver, but gold went to Mongolia’s Genbat Ganbat.

At the conclusion of the championship, Jihad Qutaishat, Vice President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, presented the medals to the winners.
