JORDAN BEAT SYRIA IN WEST ASIA VOLLEYBALL

Jordan’s women have beaten Syria, 3-2, on Monday in the 2nd West Asia Women’s Volleyball Championship at Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
The match was highly competitive, with Jordan clinching the win in a decisive fifth set, 15–9.
This is Jordan’s second victory in the tournament, following their 3-0 win over Qatar in the opening match, while their only loss so far came against Lebanon (2-3).
In other results, Lebanon earned their third win from three games after defeating Iraq (3-1), and Saudi Arabia overcame Qatar (3-1).
The tournament continues on Tuesday, with Lebanon v Qatar at 3pm; Syria v Iraq at 5pm, and Jordan v Saudi Arabia at 7pm.
The six participating teams play each other in a single round-robin system, with the top-ranked team crowned champion.
