JORDAN LOSE TO LEBANON IN WEST ASIAN VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan suffered a narrow 2–3 loss to Lebanon on Saturday in the 2nd West Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship at Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Lebanon secured victory with set scores of 25–27, 25–21, 25–22, 23–25, and 15–11, earning their second win of the tournament after defeating Syria 3–0 on Friday.
Despite the loss, the Jordanian players delivered an impressive performance against the defending champions.
Jordan opened its campaign with a 3-0 win over Qatar on Friday.
In other matches on the second day, Syria beat Saudi Arabia 3-0, while Iraq claimed a 3-0 victory over Qatar.
The championship will resume on Monday, with Qatar facing Saudi Arabia at 3pm, Lebanon meeting Iraq at 5pm, and Jordan playing Syria at 7pm.
All six participating teams compete in a single round-robin system, with the top-ranked team crowned as the champion.
