Jordan Beat Qatar West Asian Women’s Volleyball Opener

Jordan have beaten Qatar in straight sets, 3-0, to open their campaign with a win at the West Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship at Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Jordan dominated the match, winning the sets 25-13, 25-10, and 25-13.
In other opening-day matches, Lebanon defeated Syria 3-0, while Iraq also beat Saudi Arabia, 3-0.
The tournament continues on Saturday with Syria vs. Saudi Arabia at 3pm; Iraq vs. Qatar at 5pm, and Jordan vs. Lebanon at 7pm.
According to the tournament format, all six participating teams compete in a single round-robin system, with the top-ranked team crowned as the champions.
