AFC U-23 Asian Cup Draw Places Jordan in Group A

The draw for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup finals, held Thursday morning in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has placed Jordan in Group A alongside host nation Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and Kyrgyzstan.
Jordan will make its seventh appearance in the tournament, scheduled from January 6-25, 2026, beginning its group stage campaign against Vietnam, followed by a clash with Saudi Arabia, before concluding against Kyrgyzstan.
The 16 participating teams were divided into four groups of four. Teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarterfinals.

• Group B: Japan, Qatar, UAE, Syria
