Jordan are making a big impact at the Arab Table Tennis Championships, currently taking place in Casablanca, Morocco, after securing two more titles on Tuesday in the Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles.
The duo of Zaid and Tayma Abu Yaman won the mixed doubles title after defeating a Qatari pair, 3-1.
Tayma then teamed up with Rinad Al-Husni to capture the Women’s Doubles title with a 3-2 victory, again over the Qataris.
Jordan also earned three bronze medals through Rakan Al-Zoubi and Murad Al-Husni (Boys’ U-13 Doubles), Yamen Al-Ja’afreh and Awn Al-Ma’aytah (Boys’ U-15 Doubles), and Taqi Al-Din Najadat with Issa Al-Shammaa (Boys’ U-19 Doubles).
Earlier in the tournament, the Jordan’s women’s team composed of Tayma Abu Yaman, Rinad Al-Husni, and Batoul Khudr, won the Women’s title last Saturday after defeating Qatar 3-1 in the final.
