MORE JORDAN MEDALS AT ARAB SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan have won one gold and two silvers on Friday’s second day of the Arab Age-Group Swimming Championships in Morocco.

Karin Al-Balbisi took gold in the 200m butterfly (17-18 years category), setting a new Arab age-group record and a new Jordanian record in the process with a time of 2minutes and 22.53 seconds.

Al-Balbisi also earned a silver medal in the 400m individual medley (17-18 years category).

Meanwhile, Hashem Al-Nuaimat claimed a silver medal in the 100m freestyle (13-14 years category), clocking 55.31 seconds.

With these results, Jordan’s overall tally at the championship has risen to five medals consisting of one gold and four silvers.
