JORDAN WOMEN’S KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUDES

The Jordan Women’s Kickboxing Championship concluded on Friday at the Prince Hamzah Sports Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
Organised by the Jordan Kickboxing Federation, the championship featured the participation of nearly 90 female athletes representing 15 clubs, competing across the Flowers, Juniors, Cadets, Youth, and Seniors categories.
Tournament Director and Federation Board Member, Iman Ahmad, highlighted that the event is part of the Federation’s plan to promote the sport amongst the female population.
She highlighted the Federation’s strong commitment to women’s sport through organising local championships, training camps, and talent development programs.
He added that organising such championships not only strengthens the status of Kickboxing at the national level, but also provides athletes with valuable experience and exposure, whilst also giving female referees the opportunity to actively participate in officiating bouts.
