11 WEST ASIAN MEDALS AT WEST ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Jordan won 11 medals on Friday at the West Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championships, held in Bahrain.
The tally included five gold medals for Mohammad Tajqeh (Seniors, +95kg), Sharif Ghazi (U-18, -77kg), Simaza Khat (U-18, -57kg) Yanal Qardan (U-18, +85kg) and Maya Ishaqat (U-18, -63kg).
There were a further four silver medals for Fawaz Haddadin (Seniors, +95kg), Osama Nabbas (Seniors, -85kg), Zaina Shadad (Seniors, -63kg) and Omar Kasso (U-18, -69kg).
Additionally, Jordan won two bronze medals through Mohammad Oumat (Seniors, -69kg) Omar Housa (U-18, -52kg).
This strong performance highlights the continued progress of Jordanian jiu-jitsu on the regional stage.
