TENNIS TEAM QUALIFIES TO ASIAN LEVEL FOR DAVIS CUP

The national tennis team has qualified to the third level of the Davis Cup Asian Classifications after they beat Oman 2-1 at Al Hussein Sport City.
They will be joined in the next round by the UAE who qualified by beating beating Bahrain 3-0, also in Amman.
Earlier, the national team had reached the second level after remaining unbeaten in Phase One with wins over Mongolia, Tajikistan, Bahrain and Iraq.
The team was under the supervision of Tunisian coach Rafeeq Bushalaka and supported by Saif Adas, Mousa Quttob, Hamzeh Al Aswad and Ahmad Al Hadeed.
