AL BATAYNEH TAKES GERMAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Karam Al Batayneh produced one of the performances of his young career by winning the German Youth and Juniors Open Squash Championship U13 title, beating England’s English Franklin Smith 3-1.
There was another podium finish too for Jordan with Mohammad Al Sarraj taking third in the U19 category. He lost his semifinal to Frenchman Aubert Benjamin 3-1, but clinched the third place play-off against another Frenchman Enzo Corigliano 3-1.
The national team will now head to Holland for their Open Championships from July 14-18.
