JOC ANNOUNCES MEDIA AWARDS

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has launched a new award that will recognise and encourage excellence within the local media industry.
The JOC Creative Media Awards will be issued quarterly in three categories covering written media, photography as well as audio and visual.
The awards are being organized in co-ordination with Petra, the Jordan News Agency, who will provide the judging panel that will decide winners.
Lana Al Jaghbeer, JOC Secretary General, said: “The JOC believes in the major and important role of the media in developing sport across the Kingdsom and these awards will recognize the excellent work that they do.”
