Secretary General meets Wrestling chiefs

Rana Al-Saeed, JOC Secretary General, has met with three leading American wrestling organisations who have been invited to Jordan by the Jordan Wrestling Federation.
Wrestling for Peace, Wrestle Like A Girl, and Titan Mercury Wrestling Club are being hosted in the Kingdom by President of the Federation, Mohammed Al-Awamleh.
Discussions on developing the sport in Jordan have been held by working closely with the Americans, particularly to encourage more girls to participate in the sport.
Al-Awamleh emphasised the importance of the visit for sharing knowledge and expertise to improve the level of wrestling in Jordan.
He highlighted that it falls within the Federation’s strategy to establish communication channels with entities and organisations dedicated to developing the sport globally.
