Jordan make history by reaching Asian Cup semi-finals

Jordan, relatively unfancied by many at the start of the tournament, have reached the semi-finals of the AFC Asian Cup ongoing in Doha, Qatar for the first time.
A brilliant 1-0 win over Tajikistan saw them book a last-four date with South Korea on Tuesday thanks to the solitary goal from Abdullah Nasib in the 66th minute at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
It follows the dramatic 3-2 last 16 victory over Iraq, to ensure Jordan have a semi-final date to look forward to against the highly fancied South Koreans, who beat Australia, 2-1 in extra time.
