SWIMMING FINISHES SIXTH IN DUBAI

Jordan has continued to swim well at the Dubai International Aquatics Championships and finished sixth overall with 23 medals, including seven gold.
Age group Golds were won by Mohammed Al Bdur, 16, in the 50m backstroke; Dara Al Bakri, 16, in the girl’s 50m backstroke; Omar Al Wer, 15, won two in the 100m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke; Saif Al Hatabeh, 13, in the 100m breaststroke.
Silvers went to: Hamzeh Al Basha, 13, in the 50m backstroke; Al Bdur in the 50m butterfly; Talita Baqleh, 21, in 50m butterfly; Al Hatabeh in the 50m breaststroke; Lara Aklouk, 15 in the 200m butterfly.
Bronze medals went to: Baqleh in the women’s 50m backstroke; Al Bakri won two in 200m freestyle and 50m freestyle; Aklouk in 400m medley; Khaled Awad in 200m butterfly; Al Basha in 200m backstroke and Al Bdur in 50m freestyle.
