Mar 29, 2016
For the first time in Jordan Rugby’s history, five teams were registered for the Premier 15’s League, with the Nomads clinching the title after remaining unbeaten.
The final match saw them beat second-placed Citadel Knights in a gripping game that was watched by a big crowd at the Petra University pitch.
The Amman Saracens, made up mainly of expatriates from a number of countries, picked up two wins to claim third spot with the Citadel Warriors and Aqaba Sharks finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
Officials have hailed the league as an exciting development for the sport here with more than 150 players registered.
