JORDAN WINS WEST ASIA JIU JITSU CHAMPIOSNHIP

Jordan has won the West Asia Jiu Jitsu Championship, which was held in Al Hussein Sport City.
The tournament attracted eight teams from Bahrain, UAE, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia in addition to Jordan and by finishing top of the medals table, the host nation underlined its growing reputation as a global powerhouse in the sport.
Jordan’s 17 athletes won five gold medals, seven silver and 10 bronze. UAE came second with three gold medals, two silver and 2 bronze. Iraq were third with two gold, one silver and two bronze.
